About RamadanTimes
RamadanTimes is a small, free website built to help Muslims prepare for — and make the most of — the blessed month of Ramadan. It brings together the things you reach for every day of the month in one calm place:
- A live countdown to 1 Ramadan, calculated from the Hijri calendar using the Aladhan API — never a hardcoded date. When Ramadan arrives, the site switches to a "Ramadan Mubarak — Day X" mode.
- Sehri and Iftar times for any city in the world, or for your own location, fetched live for today.
- A 30-day roza tracker that saves your progress privately on your own device.
- Verified duas for Ramadan — including the dua of Laylatul Qadr — each with its Arabic text, transliteration, meaning and source reference.
- A short guide to the last 10 nights, so you can plan for Laylatul Qadr with authentic references.
Our sources
Prayer times and Hijri conversions come from the free Aladhan API. Every dua on this site is taken from a verified collection and printed with its reference (Quran chapter and verse, or hadith book and number) — we do not publish religious text without a source. Ramadan's exact first day is always subject to the sighting of the crescent moon, and local masjid timetables should be followed where they differ.
How the site is funded
RamadanTimes is free to use. Some pages link to products on Amazon; as an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases — at no extra cost to you. This helps cover the cost of keeping the site online.
May Allah bless your Ramadan, accept your fasts and prayers, and grant you Laylatul Qadr. Ameen.
